Crochet Updates
Hi Everyone,
Well what a busy few weeks I've had ...... and the time just seems to fly by. I can't believe we are in mid May already. I have been working on new crochet ideas, mainly for little ones especially as I can use my 22 month old granddaughter as a model 😁...... hence the designs. She is such a proper girly girl and loves to wear Grandmas newest designs!
Ottilie Smock Top with Tassels
I absolutely love this design and it looks adorable on too. I wanted to make a feature of the sleeve and shoulder joins on this design and then also incorporated it in the lower part of the top before adding the tassels.
I chose old gold and ivory and think they are a perfect combination.
Lizzie Smock Top with Ruffles
This was another pattern i have been working on this month........ I wanted something with a ruffle on as I love anything with frills and prettiness...... what little girl wouldn't want a frill or ruffle ....😄
and I named it after my husbands mum who I never had the pleasure of meeting as she died long before we were married. Her full name was Elizabeth but she often got called Lizzie.
I chose blue and antique white for this pattern and I think it looks really french/nautical and goes with denim and linen really well.
And finally so far this month .......
Rosie Lace Sleeve Tunic
Not quite finished........... need to work on the lower part of this top but I am happy with the result so far 😀.
I have used Drops Muskat Cotton for all the above patterns as its such a light, cool summery yarn for this time of year.
I will be writing the patterns up by the end of this month so they will be available for you to make your own versions or alternatively you can buy from our online store.
Have a lovely week peeps!
Jayne
XOXO
